YES!  We do have a "horse barn" and YES, once upon a time, horses called this barn home.  However, don't be fooled!  The "NEIGHS" have turned into "YAYS" as it has been remodeled into changing rooms for the Bride and the Groom.  There is also a large and spacious area that can be utilized for guest overflow, bar area, organized games to play during any "down" time, etc.  The beautiful leaded glass "Bride's Door" exits into the garden.  It, too, is wired for sound and is air conditioned and heated for your comfort.

Outdoor Ceremony Locations

We offer TWO outdoor ceremony locations to choose from: 

How many guests can your facility hold?  
We have can hold up to a total of 400 guests inside.  The Great Hall seats 250 guests in a round table seating or 300 with long tables inside the Great Hall. We can also seat an additional 100 people in the horse barn that has also been remodeled.  Both buildings are heated and air conditioned.  


What are your rules for serving food at our event?
We want to allow our clients to do as they wish for food catering opportunities; therefore, you can hire any of the areas best caterers for your event!  We do have a list available if desired.  


Is event set-up included in the package pricing? 
Our packages are priced for set up for up to 200 guests.  Additional guests are $5 per person. 


Are table cloths, dishes, silverware provided? 
Linens and utensils are usually supplied by  the caterer.  If your caterer does not include these items in the package, we can direct you to businesses in the area who rent these items.  


Do you have facilities for dressing rooms and preparing for our wedding/event? 
We have the Brides Room and the Grooms Room set up in the fully remodeled "Horse Barn"  for your wedding party to utilize.  


What if it rains or snows?  
One of the unique perks of our building is that we have the ability to set up in the Great Hall for the ceremony should bad weather approach.  We would then have staff on hand to reset the area for the reception and dance following the ceremony.  


May we have a bar/alcohol at our event? 
We have a licensed bar that is separate from our event center that provides bar service to our guests.   Of course, there is no underage drinking allowed on the premises.  


What does my rental include?  
All packages include the use of the chapel for the ceremony, grounds, banquet facilities, parking and our great staff!  It also includes set up for up to 200 guests (additional guests set up is available).  Our staff will do everything we can to make your day extraordinary! Are you needing something not on the list?  Just ask!  We will do our best to accommodate your needs!


What is the closest hotel accommodations?
The Comfort Inn is just 4 miles away!  There is also the Starlight Motel in Dilworth, MN which is a small “mom & pops” type hotel and is only 3 miles away.  A short trip to Moorhead, MN also allows for additional hotel accommodations.
